Dr. Heeb recently went horse back riding in Chicago at a birthday party. Here is a picture of his experience with "Old Joe" - The 22 year-old retired Chicago Police gelding. The Mounted Patrol Unit currently houses 32 horses (geldings) which are acquired by the Chicago Police Department through purchases and donations. Some horses at this stable were over 42 years old!
